Katharina Husslein is an art historian. Since 2021, she has run her shop in Vienna’s Josefstadt: a place for vintage costume jewellery, tableware and contemporary artists’ editions.

She chooses every piece herself, drawn to its history, its form and how it feels: the weight and cut of a glass, the feel of a piece of jewellery. Each has a character of its own.

This interest in materials connects the historical objects with Tactiles. Created in collaboration with artists, the editions explore the space between sculpture and functional objects.
